Jennifer Garioch is a British-trained Consultant Dermatologist who has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer. She specialises in Mohs micrographic surgery and was responsible for setting up the Mohs micrographic service at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, only the second unit in the Anglia region to provide this service.
Jennifer grew up in Glasgow and trained at the University of Glasgow. After training in General Medicine in the West of Scotland, she embarked on a career in Dermatology initially at Glasgow Royal Infirmary and then at St Mary’s Hospital Paddington, London. Whilst at St Mary’s Hospital she developed an interest in blistering conditions and undertook an MD thesis in dermatitis herpetiformis.
Jennifer has been a Consultant in Dermatology since 1996. She has been the Clinical Director and Lead Clinician for Dermatology since 1996. She has been the Chair of the Skin Cancer MDT since 2001 and the Chair of the Anglia East Skin Cancer Site Specific Group since 2007.

Jennifer is married to Simon. She has two young children, Heather and Cameron. Jennifer is interested in keeping fit, in particular cycling, and completed her first triathlon during 2011. She is interested in the French language and culture.
